School Story

I played lead guitar for "The Seven Mistakes", a group of football players at Lafayette. We had a gig at the Southland pool and Bobby Strong was the only person who showed up. We wondered where everybody was and Bobby informed us that The Mag 7 were playing at Lafayette that night. We packed up our gear and drove over to listen to the best band ever to come out of Lexington! When they started to play "Stubborn Kind of Fellow", I realized what all the fuss was about.

Lafayette was the best High School in Lexington. Great school, great teachers and great memories.
